Re: ROM/RADIO Help?
I haven't tried mike's 6.1, but Juicy 7 is very stable and basic for a 6.5 rom. I think it would be good for a WM beginner.

Re: ROM/RADIO Help?
I installed for the first time in my life a custom rom. I chose Juicy 7 rom and works great. I need to find out how to install a radio next..my bell phone gets too hot if i use data for a while. Happy with Juicy 7..fast.. good luck.

Re: ROM/RADIO Help?
If your wanting simple and super stable then mightys 6.1 is your best bet. I prefer the 6-3 release. but there is one newer one out thats good also.
6.5 is nice but theres still a few bugs in it, same for TF3D2 (Rhodium Manila) If your concerned with stability then Id stick with 6.1 for now. As far as radios go, its kinda trial and error for your location. Iv tried several but the stock Alltel one works best for me in my area

Re: ROM/RADIO Help?
I run grooverom 5 and the updated sprint radio with htchome2 as my today screen. I think it's pretty simple, fast and powerful, but it all depends where you live in terms of radio and also your carrier. If you want simple, maybe go with indagroove's simple rom. I haven't tried it, but based on Inda's work, I'd say it's probably rock solid considering it's 6.1 and simple. Check the radio thread for your location http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=56611

Re: ROM/RADIO Help?
I've tried many, many ROMs, including 6.5 ROMs, and have found myself happiest with the latest Sprint radio ROM with Juicy 3.9 running SPB Mobile Shell 3.

Re: ROM/RADIO Help?
thanks for all of your replies! she said she'll use the stock rom this weekend and see if she is happy with it but I think she'd get more out of the phone with a custom rom so maybe ill flash the mighty 6.1. I use 6.5 on my tp but its not very stable yet. Is flashing the diamond the same as flashing the tp & mogul?
