Re: Windows 7, Device Center *no email default program*

They've released a Beta a long time ago, which is due to expire this August. They released an RC version not too long ago. I don't buy much, but I am going to buy a copy of Windows 7. They've integrated a more hardcore driver finder. So as XP and Vista would just give up, Windows 7 finishes the job. Just a bunch of minor stuff like that that blows Vista out of the water.

Well, to start I have tried to get past that problem as well, but, as it seems, the only way to get around it is to actually setup your email accounts with Outlook! Thats the fastest and easiest way to do it! If you get microsoft office 2007, it has everything in it that you need! Sorry, I couldn't be a bigger help! I am using the Win7 RC1 and its great, not much diff from the beta, but, still a noticable difference!

Re: Windows 7, Device Center *no email default program*

I do not have that problem and I am using Office 2007 and yes Win7 64-bit is leaps and bounds better than Vista 64-bit. From a fresh install I only needed three additional drivers. I have not yet gotten my fingerprint scanner to work yet and my pc runs a little warmer than usual but I am loving the Win7 experience.

Re: Windows 7, Device Center *no email default program*

I have the same issue, I use Thunderbird/Win7x64 also. I hate that pop-up.
