Calendar, Call History

Can someone tell me how to remove the calendar and call history from the start screen so all I see is my wallpaper and the clock?

Re: Calendar, Call History

I think you can only remove the physical text from the start screen, they will still be there just not visible. Even after you do this your appointments from the calendar will still show up. If this is what you want then unzip attached then copy and paste files into your devices "Windows" folder.
Attached Files
File Type: zip History_Canlendar_Text.zip (7.9 KB, 8 views) Click for barcode!

Re: Calendar, Call History

I still want the time on the top of the screen and the touch flo at the bottom but I would like to remove the text "call history" and "calendar" from view on the screen.

Re: Calendar, Call History

Previous attached files should take care of that.

The circled red is what I was referring to...

Re: Calendar, Call History

When trying to copy the files over I received an error message "Access is denied. Make sure your mobile device has sufficient memory, that the file is not set as read only, and that you have permission to copy this file type."

Re: Calendar, Call History

You need to use Total Commander or Resco Explorer to transfer files. File Explorer will not work cause they are system files.

Re: Calendar, Call History

Are you on a Stock ROM or a Custom Rom? If so which one?

Also try this: Using Total Commander, find the same existing files in the "Windows" folder and rename the to add _ bak to the end of the name. Like this........7e640092_manila_bak.... Then Copy and Paste the other one.

Re: Calendar, Call History

Stock ROM. Thank you for trying. I must be working with files from the FBI or CIA. I am unable to rename any of those files. I tried cutting them out of the folder, moving them, renaming them, copying them. Nothing worked. Thanks again for your help. You think it would be an easy task to just remove a couple of programs from the screen.

Re: Calendar, Call History

Stock Rom - I think you have to unlock your phone before you can mess with any of the system files...

See here:

http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...44&postcount=1

But try the attached cab file I made first. Copy to device and run.

**Edit** I forgot the obvious, you have to turn off TF3D before running the cab file. Start => Settings => Today => Items. Turn back on after cab is installed.
Attached Files
File Type: cab CallHistory_Calendar.cab (7.0 KB, 12 views) Click for barcode!
