Question Newbie: Bluetooth Stereo vs. Wired headset

I just got a Sprint Diamond last week. I have the Mighty 4.8 Rom on it.

I am using it with a Plantronics 855 Bluetooth stereo headset. It is fine for phone calls, but stereo bluetooth seems to skip a lot. Slingplayer and youtube are pretty much unusable, as the Bluetooth stereo causes the video to slow down/skip.

Is this normal for Bluetooth Stereo on the Diamond? Or is there some way of making it better?

If so, is there a better headset that I can get that will plug into the usb port on the Diamond? Or would I be better off getting a mini-usb to 3.5mm stereo adapter and using my Shure E4 headphones? Where is the best/cheapest place to get this kind of adapter?

Welcome to the community.

well, your always going to get better sound from you shure's, but there are some tweaks for bluetooth. I would think mighty put them in but then again I don't have a diamond.

I saw the file with tweaks but I think those increase the bitrate. I'm assuming that would make it skip more, not less??

Anyone know how well the usb/headphone adapters work?

I use the Motorola S9 and Mighty 4.8 and the signal cuts out. I haven't been able to find a fix so I live with it. Where I work I have enough wires around I don't want more LOL
