How to create an image / ROM / .nbh

How do I create a ROM or image of my phone? I want to use it as a backup in case something happens to it or the phone performs a hard reset. It is configured with all my settings and program customization and am happy with it. But what is the best way to create a .nbh file so I can flash with that file.

I use Sashimi which does what you are talking about kinda. You create all the settings and choose all the programs you want on your ROM then run Sashimi and it returns it to how you like it within minutes. You might be able to copy the entire registry with PHM registry editor and then import it with sashimi. Not sure if that would actually work though.
