Question Is Sprint Touch Diamond --> Dopod S900c?

Sprint Touch Diamond does not look like HTC Touch Diamond at all. It looks more like Dopod S900C

Re: Is Sprint Touch Diamond --> Dopod S900c?

Dopod is owned by HTC, so I would assume they are more or less the same.

Re: Is Sprint Touch Diamond --> Dopod S900c?

This was big news around the time of the Diamond launch if I remember correctly. We were all eagerly waiting to see what the sprint version would look like and what the specs would be. Then a Korean CDMA variant leaked (presumably what you linked) and there were mixed reactions. I for one was sad to see the faceted back gone, but I like the bigger battery (which barely gets me through a day as it is). It was an interesting choice from HTC. I'm not sure how well the Diamond ended up selling. I get the impression that the Pro has done much better. I live in a smallish town, but even in travels I have NEVER seen another person with a Diamond...anywhere. I guess time will tell if HTC/Sprint made the right move by destroying a lot of the style that could have made the phone that much more appealing.
