I'm using Energy's newest 6.5/Rhodium ROM, but I can't install the Mobile Banking java app that comes pre-installed on the stock ROM.
My bank sends me a text message with the link to download the jad/jar files. I click on the link, jbed starts up, the jad file is downloaded, and the publishers info is displayed. I click "OK" and it asks me to choose a folder. "Root" is the only option. After I click "OK" an error message pops up that says:
"The root certificate used by Mobile Banking cannot be found -56
Please contact the application provider for more information."
I've installed this app many times in 6.1 and never had a problem. Does 6.5 handle certs differently? Could the CA root provider for this particular app have been deleted from this build? Or perhaps Esmertec's Jbed is the problem. I think I've only used the standard (HTC?) Jbed before.
Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm desparate!
