So I have a dilemma

I have an HTC touch diamond, and am on the sprint network. I am thinking about dropping out of my contract with sprint, however, and going to verizon. Will i still be able to use my sprint htc touch on the verizon network? It is already unlocked and running juicy's rom. :/
Also, will sprint know i am using it on another network? does that even matter?

sorry! Didn't read that far in just remember seeing the thread and linked to it.

I thought part of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act required phones to be able to be activated on other networks

Sorry for that too.

I did some research and it is definitely legal to break locking measures on phones that lock them to 1 carrier (at least until the copyright office revises the DMCA exemptions this summer.)

I would try calling Verizon tech support and asking to speak to a manager. Explain that it is the law and then threaten to sue if they do not activate your phone. Clearly it is possible as it used to work without issue.

Re: So I have a dilemma

wow, I appreciate the help guys. seems like this is going to be a bit more difficult than simply unlocking the phone and calling up verizon to activate it, though.
Am i correct on this?
Also, is the above link actually going to work or no?
If no, can anyone offer me some key search phrases or links?
Thanks fellas.

thanks as always to all you true ppc geeks. I wish i knew enough to honestly place myself among your ranks but alas, that would require knowledge FAR beyond my comprehension. Reaching that level of mental awareness would probably put me somewhere in the fifth dimension...and we all know I wouldnt want THAT! hahahah! :/ (checks limbs to see if they are still intact)
