So I have a dilemma

I have an HTC touch diamond, and am on the sprint network. I am thinking about dropping out of my contract with sprint, however, and going to verizon. Will i still be able to use my sprint htc touch on the verizon network? It is already unlocked and running juicy's rom. :/
Also, will sprint know i am using it on another network? does that even matter?

sorry! Didn't read that far in just remember seeing the thread and linked to it.

I thought part of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act required phones to be able to be activated on other networks

Sorry for that too.

I did some research and it is definitely legal to break locking measures on phones that lock them to 1 carrier (at least until the copyright office revises the DMCA exemptions this summer.)

I would try calling Verizon tech support and asking to speak to a manager. Explain that it is the law and then threaten to sue if they do not activate your phone. Clearly it is possible as it used to work without issue.

Re: So I have a dilemma

wow, I appreciate the help guys. seems like this is going to be a bit more difficult than simply unlocking the phone and calling up verizon to activate it, though.
Am i correct on this?
Also, is the above link actually going to work or no?
If no, can anyone offer me some key search phrases or links?
Thanks fellas.
