Don't Shoot Me!!!! WM6.5

Ok, been looking over the posts for hours looking for an answer to my question. So please don't flame me for asking. Not new to flashing ROMS, but had planned to never do it again once I got a new HTC Diamond from Telus here in Ontario. Well after having numerous problems, the Telus tech hinted for me to goto this site and reflash with a better rom. Well I did and have never looked back - Thanks all those who cook ROMS!!!!. Ok, here is my question, I used Mighty's ROM which was quite amazing!, I am now using da-reesee's 6.5 and so far working quite well.. actually spot on!!.

So always wanting to have the most stable and best, if anyone could let me know which would be the most stable 6.5 I could use for my Telus CDMA HTC Touch Diamond I would be grateful.... I did look.

Thanks again... Also, Da-Reese, if you are reading this, perhaps let us know when you plan to come out with a new ROM... Appreciate it folks.

Well since WM6.5 is only in it's beta stage, therefore, bugs out there and if you are asking for a stable OS, then I'm afraid WM6.5 is not the right choice of ROM for you.

WM6.5 should not be considered as daily usage ROM, it's more for like hobby or interest ROM, if you know what I mean.

I use it daily ... for weeks now. The builds that are out now seem really stable. I built it from Calcu's kitchen. It has quirks, but I love the ROM I built. I wouldn't go back to 6.1 if you paid me. Wait, how much will you pay me?

agreed. Been using 6.5 less than a month but found most of the roms to be very stable and for daily use. I will not be going back to 6.1 unless I need to return the phone.

I agree 100% 6.5 for me has been very stable and in some ways even more stable than 6.1 from Telus. Tethering works way better than the stock ROM.

Should I say with da-reese's ROM until another one for the CDMA comes out? I just want to flash and stay with a rom for a few months, maybe longer.

I would try MightyROM 5 beta. It's quite nice and I'm running it now. Just make sure you flash your shipped ROM first or you'll make the mistake I did today and have random hard resets hehe.

But WM 6.5 has all the bugs fixed and the current builds that are out are probably just as good as the released versions. The only thing missing might be the Microsoft store thingy that they are coming out with but that will probably be released as a cab too.

I have been using Mystery 3 build 21222 with practically no problems at all. Occasional freezes but nothing a soft reset does not fix.

He has come out with a new build since but I am sure if you ask him nicely enough he will repost the link for 21222.

Another thing with 6.5 is that I am not using titanium. I have tried but I personally can't stand it. I am still using tf3d.

Just an update. Been having serious probs with flashing. I flashed back to the Telus Stock ROM, flashed with Resse's and would not stick. Hard resets, freezing and so on. It was running really well for some time, but flashed a few others and like others here my Diamond seems to be suffering from over-flashing. So just flashed twice, will try to reflash with Mighty 5.0.. Will download fress just in case there was a problem with the download...

Will keep those who are interested posted via this thread.
