Using internet on Diamond while it's connected via Activesync?

My Diamond has never allowed me to use the internet when it's hooked to my PC. Is there any way to change this? When I set up Activesync i checked the option to "allow wireless something or other" but it made no difference.

Well you can connect through bluetooth to your computer and still access the internet if I remember right.

The phone cannot connect to the data services while connected via activesync. I have the same problem.

Yeah, that requires bluetooth on the computer. Being that a cable is provided with the phone, i think it would be easier to fix the problem than to dance around it.

you should be able to go into your activesync settings on your pc or phone and change it to allow data connection under settings when using activesync. try it and report back.

Re: Using internet on Diamond while it's connected via Activesync?

in Mobile Device Center (or activesync) under connection settings click on "allow data connection on device when connected to PC". It has always worked for me (although I never use it)
