Problem Setting Up Hotmail

I can't set up my Hotmail email on my Diamond after I did a hard reset. I had it set up before and now everytime I goto try to set it up it connects me to the internet and the hotmail website. Anyone know how I can fix this?

Re: Problem Setting Up Hotmail

Mail Icon (TF3D)>Menu>Accounts>New Account>Enter User Name and Password

Next screen should say settings found for Live.com, then click next, setup will load click accept

Now go to Start>Programs>Windows Live>Menu>Options>Sync Options>Check sync e-mail>Done

Click Green arrow to get to Sync, then sync your mail, and then you should have the Hotmail folder on your TF3D

Re: Problem Setting Up Hotmail

when you start to setup the account, dont check the "get setttings from internet", instead put in a different email address first, and then correct it later on in the account setup process once you get pass the "get settings" screen

Re: Problem Setting Up Hotmail

What ROM are you using? It seems like you are missing LIVE. I've come across that exact issue on some ROMs that leave it out. Try installing this .cab and setting it up again.
Attached Files
File Type: cab WindowsLive_NoIM_0409.cab (1.94 MB, 23 views) Click for barcode!
