Video Taken on Diamond Help

Hey I took a few videos of me and some buddies rock climbing. I transferred them over to my PC, they are .mp4 files and I try to open them with Quicktime and it gives me an error? How can I play these files/convert them to upload to youtube or something? Anyone know any freeware or how this can be achieved? Even if I have to buy software.

Thanks!

Bret

Re: Video Taken on Diamond Help

i believe htc has a solution. if you are running a custom rom most of them have the update built in. goto settings/connections/account manager sign in to youtube and then in the htc ablum application (the one touchflo sends you to) navigate to where you have the video stored and hit menu/upload to youtube. and it should do it.

but if you are on the stock rom then all you have to do is copy some files over to your device...i have them but im on my phone now and it wont let me upload the file. if someone hasnt posted them by tonight then i will do it later tonight with instructions on where to put them.

Manually change the file extension from .mp4 to .3gp and they will play in quicktime

Also, you can download "klite codec pack", and then you can play almost any video files via MediaPlayer-! I always watch video files token from Diamond in MediaPlayer-! ^_^
