I think what you're doing is turning off the data connection, what MrObvious is suggesting however, is that leave it in 1x mode as opposed to EVDO mode. There's a reg entry somewhere that enable a hidden mode operation setting in your phone options that allows you so keep the phone in 1x and not let it go to EV. That's what you're looking for.

Typiing this in a rush but i'll find it for you later on tonight if you can't find it. Good luck.

Re: Battery Issues...(MOVED FROM UPGRADES)

there are a few things to do, actually i have 2 extra batteries and all batteries aren't equal, these were even broke in the same and all get varying life.

i've tried different roms and the best thing you could do is make one yourself, and put only what you want on it, try one of the kitchens, i use ssks and just have all the things i need on it, if you don't want to make one then just use a barebones rom with little on it, the ssks fuzeberry is pretty lean but with enough good essential stuff.

there are a few things to check also, make sure xbeams" are turned off on your comm setttings screen, there are also a few old reg edite that may help, some people say no but some say they work wonders

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\AsyncMac1\Parms]
Default value type and value are
“DisablePowerManagement”=dword:1
Change to
“DisablePowerManagement”=dword:0

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Irsir1\Parms]
Default value type and value are
“DisablePowerManagement”=dword:1
Change to
“DisablePowerManagement”=dword:0

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\PPTP1\Parms]
Default value type and value are
“DisablePowerManagement”=dword:1
Change to
“DisablePowerManagement”=dword:0

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\L2TP1\Parms]
Default value type and value are
“DisablePowerManagement”=dword:1
Change to
“DisablePowerManagement”=dword:0

THis app will tracks your real time use and total use so you know how many milliamps you've taken out of your 1340 mah battery. It's ACBPowerMeter and it's attached below

If your rom doesn't have Nuepower clp 152, then install it from here
http://www.nuerom.com/BlogEngine/pag...ueBattery.aspx

It will show up under start/settings/system as a second power/backlight, it shows a lot like current power use, actual charging rate and lots more, also download the fast charge to double charging rate.

It sounds like something is making a data connection open also, like your email, weather or something else, find out what and change the setting to connect less or only when you want, there is a data connection killer floating around somewhere that kills it after so long.

One of the biggest battery killers is the screen dim it if you can stand it, I like it on full blast all of the time, so I just deal with its use, cause that VGA screen looks so good when it's nice and bright.

An extra battery Rocks though, it's soo small and easy to carry antwhere, and that doubles your battery life right there.

Re: Battery Issues...(MOVED FROM UPGRADES)

nuepower will show up click start, settings, system then power&settings, it just looks like an advanced settins page (there should be 2 'power' icons on your setting systm page it's the second one power&backlight)

acbpower will be under "programs", you may have to soft reset after installing.

Re: Battery Issues...(MOVED FROM UPGRADES)

Thank you good sir....I also downloaded the battery file that increases charge speed for USB, however it is a .exe that's inside a zip....so extract and run from my phone?

Also I opened up the nue battery and it shows i have a 200-400 discharge @ 3.958 V

Re: Battery Issues...(MOVED FROM UPGRADES)

Here is the cab (mods remove if I shouldn't post it), also including the 1 percent incriment battery meter cab that you can install if it's not already on your phone it goes up by 1% instead of 10%.

EXE files are usually installed by hooking up with your pc with and click the exe on you pc.

The ACB is nice to leave on for awhile like an hour or to and see the graph of your usage and total use.

Re: Battery Issues...(MOVED FROM UPGRADES)

I tried installing the 1% thing.....it removed my battery drivers

Did a hard reset.....

Seems like I have a 60-200mah discharge at any given time...... i think im getting about 1 hour per 10%....which is insane.
