Landscape Texting

Installed the new HTC rom for Sprint. The first time I texts with it it was in the landscape mode but I can no longer text in landscape, anyone know how to put it into landscape. I also have gyrator2 but cannot get it into landscape for texting. Anyway of texting in landscape on the diamond?

Uh you just rotate the screen with Gyrator and then text? Maybe I'm missing something.

Tried that does not work, should I be setting something in gyrator to do it, there is no spot to enable texting that I see.

You can rotate the screen by pressing and holding the green call button. Go to "buttons" and assign it. Rotate isn't an option by default and has to be enabled. I don't remember how to do it but you can find it if you search "rotate".

If you stick with gyrator you will have to learn how to add applications to the exceptions list. Do a search there are many tuts on how to set up gyrator properly. Also you may be able to find some pre made config files which you can just swap out.
I've tried all three flipit, chagescreen and gyrator2. All of them are nice but they all have their quirks, you just have to get used to them.

make sure Gyrator is running in the background, if I remember right even when you restart you device you have to go in and manually turn it on anyway

Yes. By default however it sets itself to start.
