Only way you can accomplish this is buying a wireless network adapter for your 360 and using WMWifiRouter on your phone to establish a connection to get on Xbox Live

would the speeds even be good with your data connection and gaming?

About the only way I can think of is to use Linux and use the computer as a router.

technically it would be if your EVDO area with good signal strength. the actual xbox live requirements are low.

Yes but latency is the problem. In the signature you'll notice my speedtest has decent bandwidth but notice my latency isn't low enough for good gaming.

Ditto enable ICS on the laptop and your good to go, I don't use my cell phone but do have Wifi on my desktop and share internet with the xbox. I can't imagine you'd be able to do much gaming with an EVDO connection.
