But I'm saying the phone should not effect that in any way. I could be wrong though.

It worked on every other phone (Sprint, Verizon, Nextel) that I have ever owned.

It works on my Diamond. Maybe your ROM effects it? I'm on the "Almost Stock Sprint ROM Build 2." I know you can permanently have your caller ID blocked through your account, but I'm guessing you just want to do it every once in a while. What ROM are you using?

I'm using the stock rom, planning to upgrade to WM6.5, but I'm not very comfortable with the process and I'm not sure which one to to use?

Re: Block Caller ID on HTC Diamond

Well it's completely up to you if you wanna flash a different rom, but having the stock rom rules out that being the issue. I'm not sure what to tell you unfortunately.

What would you recommend for upgrading the ROM, the only feature I really care about is Phone as Modem (I don't have it and can't add it to my contract).
