Camera lens cover soluations?

I have bestskins ever on my Diamond and wound up cutting a section out over the camera lens part of the battery cover, The Orange peel look seemed to be reducing picture quality.
But I figure since I just cut above and below the lens even if I do lay it on something scratchy the cover should hold the lens up.

The thread jdrestless pointed out was very helpful. The difference the changes in brightness made were very noticable. I also changed saturation to push the saturation up and that helped off set the loss of brightness without add the blurryness back.

Does the posted cab make all the changes or just the reg edits?
