email notification

I think I saw this conversation previously but paid no attention as it was not a problem i was dealing with. I have since lost my email notification sound. Anyooune know how to get it back. All other notifications work. When email comes in the light flashes even though I do no have that option enabled.

Re: email notification

Are you using the email push app Seven to push your email. If you are the fix for that is to use their old version which was named Seven Beta email. If you are not using Seven I believe the fix is to use .wav extensions for your email tone.

Re: email notification

What do you have set under the "Options" value of this Registry:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\ControlPanel\Notifications\{A877 D65A-239C-47a7-9304-0D347F580408}]

If only your LED is flashing you probably have it set to this:

"Options"=dword:00000100

to enable sound, change it to:

"Options"=dword:00000001

See this post and download attachment for explanations of values (shts 3 &4).

Hope this helped.

Re: email notification

Convert it to a .wav.
