Re: [Sprint] Ring & Vibrate no longer sticks

For the Reg edits to stick? I don't know about that one cause on some ROMs like when I tried to change the tether fix of changing the "Phone as Modem" setting to "Sprint" it would almost immediately revert back to what it was. I would change it, select something else, re-select the reg and it had already switched back....

Re: [Sprint] Ring & Vibrate no longer sticks

That type of change is usually caused by provxml's. That way when you call sprint, a tech tells you to soft reset....and viola! Your phone starts working again. I'll put that on my to-do list and see if I can't find that setting for you all...

I had this same problem until I used the htcgaurdian fix that was posted. Now the edits stick.

I tried this and it still reverted after soft reset.

Re: [Sprint] Ring & Vibrate no longer sticks

So, I'm wondering if a smarter person than me could maybe write a quick app to do one thing:
With the tap of an icon (lnk) it would toggle on "vibrate & ring" for the phone sound setting.

Right now, I have to click Start/Settings/Sound & Notifications/Notifications/Vibrate & Ring/ok/x - that's a whole lotta clicking.....

I'd love just a one click toggle, like there is for the bluetooth.

Here's hoping the right person reads this and feels compelled.

"I COMPELL THEE!!!!" LOL!

I felt compelled to see if you wanted to try this --

http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...-switcher.html

I used it for a bit and it was cool. I use SPB phone suite to change the sound profiles on my phone, so I didn't use this app for long.

Hope it helps.

Re: [Sprint] Ring & Vibrate no longer sticks

Thanks - checking it out now. (I gotta try this "compell"-stuff more often)
I checked out the developer thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=406769
it's a great g-sensor profile switcher, but it doesn't enable vibrate AND ring from what I read.

Good thought though.
