It has the obvious effects such as hugely improved battery life. It makes the phone consideribly larger which kind of defeats the object of getting the diamond in the first place but i guess thats personal choice.

The thing to consider is theres quite a lot of literature in these forums regarding losing signal strength, gps etc due to thickness of battery. Do some research all the info is here.

Hope this helps

Re: battery test

Last time I checked, the highest capacity standard sized battery was 1500mah, is that still the case?

The battery is physically a whole lot larger than the regular touch battery, but it's only 250mah larger in capacity. It seems to me that they should be able to make a standard size LiPo battery in the 1800 mah range without much problem. Where is it????
