Lost touch and recieving a diamond!!!
 

Is the diamond basically the same thing as the touch? Let me know what I should do to the phone first....update rom? and does the programs from my touch work on the diamond?

Nice score ... the diamond is superior to the vogue in almost every way. Take the time to read the stickies in the upgrade section. If you're going to try some custom roms, be sure to unlock first. Welcome aboard ...

Get used to the phone before you flash a custom Rom so you can actually tell what has been changed besides the astetics.

i believe quit a few of the programs will work for the dimaond too but its always nice to start with a fresh ".Cab" folder for a new device in my opinion, im a dork though lol. Congrats bro on the diamond.

Most apps will work just fine, but there are a lot of apps that have VGA versions to take advantage of the diamonds better screen (touch is qvga=less resolution)
like TomTom, S2P and so on, so you may need different versions than you have for some programs.

I had a custom rom on my diamond within the first half hour. LOL

Diamonds are better. :D

Besides that, you will notice that it's sleeker but it's still a lot of the same stuff. I would suggest MightyROM 4.8 for now for a ROM that is stable.
