good night geektown....

well my diamond is ready to lose her virginity but she stuck, she dont know if she is unlocked or not... but how do i check that.? i unlocked (i think) i tried to power down the phone then back up holding volume down but nothings, i also try entering bootloader but gave me an error.... pliz help her out...

it is for sprint

I thought a phone lost it's virginity the first time you soft reset it with your stylus

OP, if it won't go into bootloader, try again. If it still won't try again. Then unlock it again. Then try to put it into bootloader.

haha ima try that now.!

another thing is i want to flash it to RSTG sprint rom, and i have downloaded the diamond ruu and everything and told me to copy the rom file to the folder diamond ruu and run the rom utility updater and i did and gave me an error, it's something wrong that i'm doing or i'm that stupid

You probably ought to read the unlocking thread on diamond upgrade page. Get unlocked.

There is no need for the reset button to get this to work. Simply shutdown your phone (off), press and hold the Volume Down button first, then while holding this you press and hold the top power button of the phone. It should put you in bootloader mode (Tri-colored screen). Proceed to unlock..

When trying to unlock and the phone gets "hung up", keep trying. A lot of the posts that I have read show people getting this problem, inculding myself. It took about four to five attempts before it went through for me.

After the phone is unlocked, I recommend flashing from the internal storage, see link below. This helps keep a Rom ready to flash if you ever mess up your settings while "toying around".
