iGo8 and Win 6.5 issues? Edit: Problem solved with new sys.txt file!

Running latest Groove 6.5 rom and iGo8 with TTS consistently freezes the phone. This doesn't happen right away, but happens after I have driven for a few minutes following the selection of a destination (under 5 minutes). Is this a known issue with win 6.5 or is it rom specific? Is anyone successfully running iGo8 with a win 6.5 rom without issues? I never had an issues with multiple 6.1 roms.

I am running it fine on Chronics 6.5 Rom. Also worked fine on Grooves 6.5 Rom's. Make sure you shut off animations as that is know to cause lockups.

This is by far the nicest looking gps program out there. I just got it setup the way I wanted.....

Thanks, I will try to turn off animations. What are your settings? Can you post your sys file?

bmxracr96: add this to your sys.txt file to get rid of the annoying beep sound each time the program gives you a verbal navigation command:

[sound]
ding=0

sorry, and a bit off topic, but:
does igo8 actually speak the directions to you as you approach a turn?

If you put in an address in a major city you will be able to see the buildings as long as you have the correct file.
