Opera Mobile 9.5 Build 16277
FlashLite 3.1 is integrated and Youtube is reported to be working properly.
There is one minor annoyance in this cab: the zoom button and slider are a little pixelated and blurry. I think you could overwrite the skin with a previous version's to fix it though. Here's the download link posted on xda-developers: http://www.4shared.com/file/10171264..._25042009.html And here's a link to the cab from Mystery: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...postcount=5439 EDIT - Disregard my original assessment of the improved speed. I did a hard reset earlier today and discovered that 15954 fresh is about as fast as 16277. I suppose I had something screwed up before that was slowing me down. YMMV. But always nice to have a newer version either way Last edited by anythingbutmine; 04-28-2009 at 11:26 AM. |

And thanks for the info about flash being built in; I assumed it would be a separate download. |

Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 Build 16277 - FAST!
Browsing speed is really about the same. The only difference is a snappier UI; and after doing a hard reset to go back to 15954, I did realize the UI speed bump between the two isn't as big as I'd thought. Somewhat of a false alarm on my part, admittedly. But a newer build is always welcome nonetheless.

Re: Opera Mobile 9.5 Build 16277
you must have been using an omnia build to get that option... just type in "opera:config" scroll down to user preferences. for custom user agent type in
Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 6.0; en) Opera 9.5 then scroll down to UA prof enabled and uncheck it. scroll to the bottom hit save. restart opera. now youll never get directed to a mobile site again...and to make it easy, after you are done goto windows/opera9/ and copy "opera.ini" to your internal storage. now when you get a new opera or flash all you have to do is paste it back to /windows/opera9 instead of typing it out every time |
