how do you delete original keyboard?
 
it isnt under the system tab under remove programs... how do you get rid of the old key board?

keyboards are cooked into roms so you can't remove them normally. You can replace them with another keyboard of your choice. Do a search for HTC Keyboards or just keyboards in this forum and you will find several kinds. You can try another HTC Keyboard set or Fingerkeyboard, or the new Diamond2 keyboards out there. good luck.

yes, normally this will occur anyway after you install the cab, it will prompt you to restart. Make sure you read up on installing keyboards. You need to use a task manager to close the sipt_ exe process if you are installing another Htc keyboard overtop of another one. Which keyboard are you looking to replace?

You can disable them which prevents them from showing up in your available keyboard list:

i was looking to install this one...http://www.freewarepocketpc.net/ppc-...v0-11-rc3.html after i installed it.. the old one was still there...

ok guys i figured it out.. it was just another keyboard option... and it sucks,.. i dont reccomend that one..
