Re: No more free Mail2web...what to do?

How does one remove the mail2web exchange off the phone without deleting all of the PIM files? Last time I tried to remove mail2web from activesync on the phone, it wanted to delete all of my contacts, calendar, tasks, etc. Any ideas?

Thanks,

GP

There are 2 that I know of, nuevasync.com and m.google.com for domains supports mobile syncing. Not sure about gmail, but would think it would be available.

I have tried that...

Cricket runs thru a internet port 8080. I get unlimited internet but there are a few sites or programs that will not work thru a port. I tried using gmail POP but couldn't get it to work.

I heard that the IMAP.cab works but can't seem to find it. Gotta search again.

I downloaded the seven cab program to try but it wouldn't load on my phone correctly. It was causing problems on my 6.5 rom. I want to try Imappusher. Where can i get it?

Ah. A quick Google turned up nothing. Hmm this is interesting. Maybe you could set up your own exchange server at home using a Linux alternative? I think those exist IIRC.

^Nuff said, never understood why people ever bothered with Mail2web(free) with this around.

Seven has to be the best Push email solution on windows mobile by comparison. Esp for Gmail/Google Cal users.

I tried seven but it didn't work correctly. I download the one for windows mobile 6 professional. But I am running 6.5...does that matter?

it should work fine, I used GrooveROM 4's 6.5 with it. What didn't work exactly?

I think it not work correctly because cricket works through a port setting for the internet and I think that is preventing it from working.

I have also tried windows mobile messenger, windows live and both of those just hangs on the sign in screen...just like seven.
