They are just going to completely refurb the phone and software anyways, I doubt they check for stuff like that.

I've sent two back with the Sprint Rom and still unlocked, they dont check

every phone i ever had has been unlock (and never relocked--like 6 totals)...they dont check or care. he should be fine...

I sent my 6700 back to them with a completely different ROM in it.. That was over a year ago, never heard another thing from it.

I'm pretty sure when the phone is refurbished into a FRU they reflash the firmware to it anyway.
