Unable to tether HTC Diamond using Internet Sharing

Just switched from the PPC6700 to the HTC Diamond. I want to be able to tether the new phone for phone as modem. I go to the Internet Sharing application in WM 6.1 and the "connect" button is greyed out and unable to be clicked on. Everything else works fine including Internet on the device works using the Sprint network.

Any ideas? Thanks.

Be sure advanced netowrk functionality is disabled in ActiveSync.
Also check for the tethering Fix cab posted somewhere on this site.

once i installed the cab and got it to connect, my maximum speed is only 60-70kb, how do i increase that?
