What ROM are you running on VZW?
 

I just got a Diamond at a good priice and am planning on setting up for Verizon to replace my xv6900 this weekend or next. Although I have flashed my xv6900, this is my first time taking a phone meant for one carrier and moving it to another. I'm pretty comfortable with the process but the big question is which ROM to flash. So I was just curious what ROMs people were running on VZW and what influenced your choice.

You better check the TouchPro thread first. The procedure we have all been using to put Sprint phones on VZ is not working anymore.

I am running the latest Mighty ROM in my Sprint TP running on VZ service by the way.

No, it is not good news at all.

I have three Sprint TP's that I have used on my VZ account at one time or another. Now, I am scared to make any changes to the one I am using that works perfectly.

Thanks John, I had already figured that was the thread but never hurts to get a confirmation. VZW really wants me to switch to Sprint don't they?

Yea, it sure seems that way doesn't it??

That is not really an option for me although I would like to switch just on GP at this point.

I am on a corporate VZ plan & when I had Sprint service it sucked so there is no way I'm switching back.

wow thanx for the heads up john. i was actually thinking about getting a sprint diamond for my fiancee to replace her omnia this weekend. guess i will have to wait and see if big red finally releases it

I've been reading the thread and the odds don't seem good for me. I'll give it a shot anyway though. If VZW wants to lose a customer of 9 years whose bill is always $100+ then their loss. I love the network coverage but this is beyond silly. ]

I'm still curious what ROMs you lucky legacy users are on though LOL
