google maps on iphone
google maps seems to work smoother on the i phone. like it loads more of the map at a time. is there a way to do this on the diamond

Could it possibly be that the iPhone's screen runs at a lower resolution than the Diamond and thus loads significantly less pixels for an update?

It's like saying a XGA monitor runs Quake slower or less smoothly than a VGA monitor on the same PC.

I think Google maps is slower on Iphone, but maybe thats just me and the fact that I rarely ever use Google maps.

I'm not sure about the speed, but on iPhone google maps scrolling is very smooth compare to maps on my TP.
