Help Diamond Is Stuck

my wife has a diamond and when we woke up hers was frozen. we tried a soft reset and when it rebootsnone of the tf3d buttons work. we cant even get to settings to turn tf3d off. it looks like the left soft key is pressed even though no one is pushing it. is a hard reset the only answer?

Are you able to hook up to to your PC and back up your stuff? Might be worth a try ...

I have had this before, try a couple of soft resets in a row, see if that works?

Also, are you running the stock rom or a custom rom?

to answer both questions...we have a mac and sync mate doesnt work with the diamond, tried it. and we have reset it multiple times. for some reason the lower left soft key 'phone' looks like it is permenantly pressed.

Have you taken the battery out and left it out for about 5 minutes?

Then put it back in and see what happens

yep tried that too. she took it to the sprint store during luch and they couldnt even hard reset it o yhey gave her another one.

Maybe it was just a bad unit?

thats odd...seems like something may have been wedged inbtween one of the layers for the touchscreen....that would cause you not to be able to do anything bc the phone can only recognize one touch at a time...

Yea. The guy at sprint said he sees this a lot (?) a bit odd I think. The hard keys worked fine. We were able to scroll through the TF3D menu left to right and back but not able to do anything with the screen itself, oh well. At least she has a new phone.
