Alltel Diamond Question

I just bought this for my wife and have a question (yes..I used the search function and did not find what I am looking for):

The "Programs screen", where we have the icons (3x3) of programs that are pre-added. However, when I try to remove the icons and change the programs, however only the bottom RIGHT icon can be changed...all the other installed programs have a lock on them. Thus...how can I unlock those programs and put stuff up there my wife will actually use? I know I can add a second 3x3 group at the bottom of the page...but I want to get rid of all the Alltel installed icons.

Thanks.

Re: Alltel Diamond Question

Thanks so much...that did the trick. Next mod is to use the AGPS fix from the sticky. It works great on my Vogue.

Re: Alltel Diamond Question

If you use something like Advanced Configuration, I believe it can manage the aGPS settings for you in there.

Re: Alltel Diamond Question

The problem is Google Maps is not picking up ANY satellites. Of course, Alltel may have the GPS turned off on the Diamond as default. Anyone know?

Check the Location Setting. I fell for it too.

Re: Alltel Diamond Question

Location setting is on. Still no satellites. Had the same issue with the Vogue when they upgraded the ROM back in the summer.

Re: Alltel Diamond Question

Does it say "Looking for Satellites (0)"? If so then GPS is working but not AGPS.

Re: Alltel Diamond Question

Ok try going outside for like 10 minutes. Soft reset your phone and load up Google Maps and try to get a GPS lock. How long does it take? And does your EVDO connect from it?
