Touch Pro Rom on Diamond

I have searched and searched and been unable to find out if you can run a touch pro rom on a diamond.

So Can you install a CDMA Touch Pro Rom on a CDMA diamond?

Even if you could, why would you want to? Why don't you just use a dimaond ROM?

Since I see this question all the time, can someone explain to me the benefit of using a ROM not designed for your phone, could be filled will software issues, could break your phone?

Well the reason I ask is most Diamond roms do not have landscape touchflo3d, and instead of installing landscape touchflo3d having it come already in the rom. I know i could cook one up but I am lazy and do not feel like it. If it comes down to it I guess I will have to. Besides the pro and the diamond are basically the same device so I would think there would not be the "software issues"

as tersoth has said, NO... DO NOT USE A TP ROM on your diamond.

use a CDMA diamond ROM only!

sounds like you should do some reading/research about cooking your own rom w/a landscape manila

Thanks for the answers, I have been reading up on cooking....
Gets out chef hat.....

So far I think it will save me loads of time on settings every time I update my ROM.

Thanks again!

look into User Customization also, very helpful in setting up your phone after a hard-reset :thumbright:

I'd say it's possible based on postings in this thread: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread...hlight=diamond . However, I'm sure there would be some problems that would have to be overcome.
