Re: Daylight Savings Time

I was referring to the previous several posts. Poor wording on my part.

Re: Daylight Savings Time

Applied the patch but it didn't fix my Arizona specific time zone problem. Still looking for a solution.

Re: Daylight Savings Time

DST updated fine on my sprint touch diamond stock rom, including appointments, when it was supposed to. This morning, however, the time reverted back to standard time during the night, for no apparent reason. I had GAlarm set (which obviously didn't go off on time). I rechecked the time setting which was correct for Eastern US, but it was off an hour. (I checked another sprint phone to make sure that it wasn't a network issue) I manually changed the time & so far it's ok. Anyone have an idea why it would do that?

Re: Daylight Savings Time

What I would like to know is why do they have the calendar tied to the clock in the first place? I know when I kept my appointments on my planner I just wrote them in at the appropriate time and never worried if it was DST or not, why don't they just make a calendar that you make appointments for a specif time and leave it at that.

Yes, I'm having all kinds of problems with this time zone. My phone noted the time change then it put all of appts up one hour. Originally it was showing on PC outlook calendar as correct time but my phone was showing incorrect. Reboot the phone and it has the correct time then I active sync and the times changes. I've done all the fixes from the other thread. I'm just frustrated right now.

Re: Daylight Savings Time

Any more word on a fix for this?

I'm running the 2nd "official" leaked Sprint ROM on Sprint phone.

In order to not F'k up my calander I shutoff sync with mobile network, left Time Zone wrong by 1hr and moved the time by 1hr.

But I really depend on the time on my phone being perfect and like the abilty to set all clocks by it. With it not syncing time I no longer trust it.
