Inside of my stylus slot messed up..

its not sucking it up like it should be....also its a a lil more hassle to put it in(tougher)

i have warranty with alltel..so if i take it there will they exchange it on the spot(wityhout paying 90 bucs or watever)or make me wait till it gets repaired...?

Take your battery cover off and see if its easier

I had that problem with my diamond. I took it back and they just exchanged it. The problem was the magnet inside the phone broke off. Apparently it was just a dab of glue holding it on there. They told me that "forcing" the stylus in causes that, although I didnt force it ever.
It sounds like your magnet is knocked outta wack, which is causing the stylus to bang into it. Good luck man. I'd just take it back and replace it. I wasnt happy with my diamond and now I got the TP and loveeee it.

Yup...Sounds like the magnet issue.

I would take it in and see what they tell you.

FYI...If you have flashed a custom rom..I would put stock on there before going back in.

isn't the magnet actually in the stylus instead of the phone?

nope... its a small little magnet glued inside the track of where the stylus slides in. I dont know exactly where, but once it comes off ya gotta take it apart to get it back on. Just take it to the store to do a quick swap. Make sure you put back all the stock sprint stuff and relock it (just to be safe)

Yeah I had that same problem with my Diamond. I reflashed and Locked my phone. Although I had another hardware failure that effected my Volume Button. But Just exchanged and haven't had a problem since (Knock on Wood). Good Luck
