Picasaweb problem

When I email a photo from my Diamond to picasaweb, picasaweb does not get it. It is sent out as gmail has it in the sent folder.

If I email the photo to, say, my yahoo email, no problem. So my Diamond has no problem to email photos out.

If I email the photo from my desktop computer, picasaweb gets it without problem. So my Picasaweb account is taking email photos.

Email from Diamond to flickr is no problem.

Just no from Diamond to Picasaweb.

Any ideal? Thanks.

Re: Picasaweb problem

I just tried it from my phone(using hotmail) and it worked and showed up in my picasaweb. are you sure you are typing in the email address correctly?

edit: just tried it with my gmail account using IMAP and it showed up on picasaweb too. Sorry can't help you anymore than that.

Re: Picasaweb problem

have no idea what the issue is there... that's pretty odd... i used to have an issue where my gmail would simply not send outgoing messages at all but it somehow resolved itself...

Re: Picasaweb problem

Yes I use secure IMAP/SMTP, tried Hotmail, Gmail and even Outlook (exchange), same result. On Verizon network, MightyRom3.9 and Telus radio.

Re: Picasaweb problem

If you haven't already, try going into the settings on the picasa website and disable email uploading, then re-enable it and pick a new magic word.

edit: can u send yourself a test from the gmail website on a pc and does it show up in picasa?

See the OP, no problem at all except one thing: from Diamond to Picasaweb.

Re: Picasaweb problem

No typo, Picasaweb simply does not like my Diamond (Sprint, MightyRom3.9, on Verizon network). No problem with flickr, which is better anyway.
