text size keeps changing

so..... i have my texts threaded. when i open the conversation, the actual text size is different every time. in the Settings menu: System: Screen: Text Size, i have it set to Largest.
is there a way to go into the registry and change the font size permanently? or will that affect everything on the phone?
its just getting annoying as hell not knowing what size the text is gonna be when i open the conversation!!

Thats wierd, this could be a dumb question but you do know that if you move your finger around the center button in a circular motion counter clockwise or clockwise like an ipod it will make the text bigger or smaller. its pretty sensitive so may be you are doing it by accident.

this is more then likely the problem, you can change the text size the same way as you zoom in/out in web pages/photos

actually, that's EXACTLY what i was doing!! wow, i learn something new about this phone every day!
