Unhappy Listening to music for 10 minutes only for sound to die?!

Listening via the usb attachment for the earbuds, regardless of music app, the sound will inexplicably die after a few minutes of music. Forcing you to reset to regain the sound back.

Anyone have this problem? the Diamond is unusable as a music media device because of the error, it happens without fail & everything goes quiet.

Really PO-ed that I can't rock out to my tunes.

Are you using Windows Media player or another program to play your music?

Re: Listening to music for 10 minutes only for sound to die?!

My issue is that not only the sound dies, but the whole phone shuts off and will only wake after a soft reset.

Re: Listening to music for 10 minutes only for sound to die?!

This occurs with standard ROM & grooveROM 4 6.1/v.11, I'll look to see if anything does an auto shutoff but keep in mind:

When the sound dies, the screen is still active and it can occur in the middle of the song. So I doubt its a conflicting app or consumed ram.

I'm running MR4.8 and while playing song in WMP, my phone soft resets automatically after about a minute or so. Can play entire albums using music tab though.

Update: That was a couple days ago, I have since run both Adv Config Tooks and Diamond Tweaks and now WMP plays just fine without any soft resets that I have noticed. I think it may have been some power management thing.
