How to default to T9 in opera?

I am currently using OMJ's rom and Opera build 15316.

When I enter text into a text box within opera, I would like it to always go to T9. But I cannot find an option anywhere for this! (in opera or anywhere else)

Any fix for this? It's very annoying.

I think there was a thread on this. Do a search. But I think it's under SIPChange.

are you saying you'd like to type in t9 mode as the default instead of ABC?

mine seems to do this fine except when i need to enter a password -then it simply WONT let me do t9...

but yes this is a very good question.
