This demonstrates a complete lack of know. I have been using Windows 7 as my main operating system on 2 computers for the last 2 months. It is beyond "working".

I sync and flash my phone on both of these computers on a regular basis.

Re: Can't connect to WMDC using Windows 7

Upgraded to the latest mightyrom, but the problem still exists. I guess I will probably just wait while Win 7, WMDC, and WinMo all mature. No big problem since after hours of trying to get it to work, I finally got wifi share going between my ppc and Win 7 (had to since mf had an upload limit). And that is just as good (if not as convienent) as a usb connection. Will probably buy another usb cord too to see if that is the problem (foolishly sold the official one >_<) and hope that the problem isn't with the Diamond itself.

Anyway, thanks for the help.

No it's not. It's BETA and not expected to work. That said, I'm glad it works for you.

An Alpha is expected NOT to work. A PUBLICLY released Beta is expected TO work, and it does, quite well I might add. The reason behind a publicly released beta is so that it can get tested on ALL systems, not just their test systems. It only made it to the beta stage because it's expected to work, they just need feedback on a wider variety and greater quantity. After they determine it's suitable for release, it hits RC stage. (Release Candidate) These are supposed to be similar to what they would be coming right out of the box.

Windows 7 works great, you can hardly tell its a beta. That said I have problems flashing my diamond with it also, something about a driver is missing is beleive or some driver problem. The mobile center works fine but I just can't flash. I use my vista box to flash.
