Install Cabs no longer prompt

I've been playing with my Diamond a bit...and recently, it has stopped asking me where it wants to install CAB files too (it used to prompt me for installing to device memory or Internal Storage).

I recently formatted my Internal Storage drive; but I think it may have stopped prompting me before hand.

If anybody has any steps to what I can do to end up back in my original state, I would be greatful.

I looked around a bit; but there's a lot of noise about other Intenal Storage problems, which I don't believe I am hitting.

Have you hard reset your device?

Are you sure your internal storage card is showing as storage? If looking in file explorer the folder icon for internal storage should ahve a little black sd card in the bottom corner. If not, reformat via the computer/active sync or use the HotFix from HTC to re-enable it. http://www.htc.com/us/SupportDownloa...at=2&dl_id=436

My internal card is showing up as storage (as a little icon in explorer), registers as storage under settings->memory.

Should I use the HTC hotfix anyway?

Wouldn't hurt but it basically makes sure its being read as storage.
