locked or unlocked???

how do you know if your phone is locked or unlocked? I need a way to check since I will be buying a used phone I want to make sure it is locked???

You put the phone in bootloader mode press volume down and reset simultaneously, and it will say either locked or unlocked at the top. However unlocking this phone isnt a big deal at all.

WRONG.

Please don't answer questions with ill advise.

It will always say Security Unlocked at the top and will never say Locked.

The only way to tell that it is unlocked, is if it says 0.57.CMONEX on the third line in the bootloader screen.
