Yikes iGuidance 2009 went to microSD card only

Are there ways to transfer programs like this onto the internal SD Card?

I really don't care about an external SD Card but if it locks me out of using applications like this I'll be more careful next time.

Anyone familiar with iGuidance V4 have a new preferred GPS Guidance App they have moved to?

My bare min requirements are Text to Speech and ideally NAVTEQ maps.

Live Search is nothing like a true Navigation program.

Does Live Search even do any Audio based instructions?

yeah. It makes a little beeping noise when youre getting to your next point of turn. Instead of "Stay to the right" or "Turn Left" it goess BEEP

Kinda like buying a Ferrari and trying to make it into a Ford Taurus.

Re: Yikes iGuidance 2009 went to microSD card only

I just tried latest version. If I wanted to total my car to collect insurance I might consider using it.

With something like iGuidance I never have to even look at the map and I can keep my eyes on the road. When your using a GPS navigation it's probably areas your even less familiar with and even more important to keep eyes on the road.

Text To Speech is the only way to go. It's just too dangerous with these itty bitty screens without it.

lol thats why when I use Live Search or Google maps I make sure I'm parked, without anyone behind me honking at me, and I read and memorize the directions. Never been a fan of the GPS, especially since its not that easy to get lost in Miami (unless you go to Coral Gables)
