Re: CDMA and GSM users alike: In-Call voice recording

Working now... BUT i dont think it records the other side... INTERNALLY. I think it's recording through the mic only. Thats why the other side is so low and not so clear

Re: CDMA and GSM users alike: In-Call voice recording

I use PocketShield, and the PSPS dialer. Would that make any difference?
Another thing, when I attempted to copy the dll to \Windows, it said the file is already present. Using MM4.1

Re: CDMA and GSM users alike: In-Call voice recording

Has anyone been able to figure out how to boost the volume on the recorded calls? After reading this thread it seems that some people have decent volume on the other side of the call. Over at XDA they mentioned a registry edit to delete, but i couldnt find it.

oh and this works with the mighty 4.8 and had it on my stock sprint rom too.

I had that issue earlier. I believe it has to do with recording through the mic only and not through the actual call. I used the installation steps on page #1 from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=474920 and its working perfectly now.

infection0, thanks for finding the wavs! Going to replace the the files now to soften the beeps

Looks awesome. I linked you in the first post.

P.S. I didn't find the wavs. I extracted them from the cab and edited them with Audacity. Anyone can do it themselves.

Which ROM are you using, it seems that it does make a difference. The OP in the XDA thread stated that using a particular ROM only recorded using the mic (results in the other party sounding really low), while using a different ROM resulted in it recording the right way.

By the way, for anyone who may be using it, I'm using Juicy's 4.7 ROM and there is no sign of the "start recording" option after installing the cab. I did install the S2A cab first

EDIT: Guess i needed to soft reset first. The start recording option shows now.
