HELP Before I take this POS Back!!

I am so PO'd. I was having the same problem as everyone with the Answer Delay, I went into the Diamond Tweak Program and changed my dial Pad back to WM, I actually like that better. Now when I make or receive a call the person on the other end can not hear me at all as if my phone muted....

Re: HELP Before I take this POS Back!!

Try the new slide to answer dialer in this forum and I have no problem with delay in answering. It is very instantaneous....

Also, I used Caulkin's kitchen to cook my own ROM and set my Pagepool size to 24MB and my diamond is very responsive now.

Re: HELP Before I take this POS Back!!

Sorry, Stock ROM, I have tried the slide answer and it did not work out well, it seemed to delay me for a longer time. I switched back to the Diamond Dial pad and I can make my calls now but I am back to having the delay.

Re: HELP Before I take this POS Back!!

Wow with stock rom and you have this issue? That's very odd!!

Anyway, do you think you can try one of those custom rom and see if it works. I experience this on my old Touch with one of the kitchen I found over XDA. Apparently, there was something in the OEM drivers that delays the answering time. I then have to go back to other kitchen and it worked after that.

Check around thee forums. There is a hack for that. The slide to answer works very well if u ask me.

Re: HELP Before I take this POS Back!!

Can you try a hard reset? Might fix your problem.

Reminder, sync your contacts and backup anything you feel is important.

Re: HELP Before I take this POS Back!!

Be sure you have your registry setting as:
HKLM\Comm\ConnMgr\Planner\Settings\SuspendResume
set the value to #777 no return key. Shaggy has a cab for this that works perfectly toward the end of the delay answer fix thread.

I'm not thinking this resolves the sound issue but it will allow you to answer your calls more correctly.

How do I edit the reg, I have worked on computers but not phones, so I am new to the phones?

OK, I downloaded the cab and after a few soft resets I can make calls and they can hear me, it did fix the delay in the ring but I still have to wait about 5 seconds or so before I say "hello" or they will not hear me. I guess I can live with that.

Thanks ALL.
