original diamond back at best buy

went to best buy today and they had the diamond with the original black diamond cut back. just thought i would put it out there for those who like it.

Thats the GSM version.

it was on sprint counter. cdma correct? i could be wrong but mine is maroon

Yes. It might have been on the sprint counter. But is not a Sprint phone. Possibly a dummy phone?, but CDMA version of the diamond does not have a diamond cut back. Like you said, it has a standard maroon back. The GSM version comes with the diamond cut (black) back.

They've had it for a while now. Its the North American GSM version which works on AT&T's 3G network. Also extremly expensive.

Now what's odd about it is at my Best Buy, it is the same thickness and camera placement matches up perfect with a large enough hole as my Alltel one does. It also does not have a glossy finish??? what's up with that? Definately a "DUMMY" phone.
