So many posts about battery... ONE MORE!
 

I think ive done every battery tweak i could come accross and yet my battery life is still going down the drain. So I beg of someone to please help me.

What are all the battery tweaks that can be done on the Sprint Diamond... and (Im using the stock rom) if I have to flash to another rom, whats the best one you can recommend if I dont need fancy stuff and I like the Sprint ROM look?:(

Please help. I'm only getting about 8 hours use out of my phone, with little to no text and one or two 5 mins calls. ](*,)

flash, pick a rom you like for your needs, dont like it, reflash.

I switched my "mode of operation" to 1X only. I was shocked on how drastically it increased my battery life. It requires a registry tweak in order to access "mode of operation". Here's a copy of how to do that from another post.

Here is the Registry edit for enabling Hidden Phone Settings "Mode of Operation" option to pick 1X mode only.

HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\PhoneSetting

Change the option HiddenModeOperationPage from 1 to 0

Then go to Phone/menu/option/service/and check in the list, "Mode of Operation" should be at the bottom. You have 3 choices, Hybrid, EVDO, and 1X.
