Does the diamond have 192mb ram or 288mb?

The htc site says 288mb of ram for sprint. if you go to the worldwide site it says 192mb. I just got off the phone with htc because i was trying to download spritebackup that appeared to be a free download for the diamond. For some reason the download would not go. Everytime I put in my serial number it gave an error. I called and he said I don't believe it is available for you. Choose your country at the top. I did and the sprite backup disappeared when i chose the carrier (sprint). The ram changed for the phone as well to 288mb. Can someone verify this. I always thought it was 192mb. If this is the case I am more happy than ever I chose the Diamond over the bulkier Pro.

When you realize that one spec sheet says GSM and the other says CDMA, I think you'll have your answer: two different phones.

So what's the answer? Because i just looked at alltell's version and sprints version and they both say 288mb ram. You have to click USA when you go to the HTC site and the site totally changes. Sprint doesn't have gsm neither does alltell. Again what is the answer?

288mb. both sprint and alltel are cdma

288 on CDMA versions. Your phone will tell you 217ish because somewhere around 64mb is locked for system/video use of some sort. I'm really kind of unaware exactly what the extra unseen is used for.
