Backups from Mogul to Diamond

So i'm getting my Diamond tomorrow, coming from a Mogul ( Hope it wasn't the worst mistake I made) and I had a question to those that have already upgraded.

I have PpcPimbackup (ithink thats what its called, dont hold me on that) and Ive made backups of my appointments, messages and contacts.

Can I restore these to the Diamond if I transfer them through AS or Bluetooth. Or are they both writting the backup formats different, making them unable to be transfered?

I hope someone understands what I mean.

Re: Backups from Mogul to Diamond

I'm thinking that you shouldnt have a problem, since they're both WM6. You can also do the same via dashwire, www.dashwire.com. This is a cloud based backup that will take care of not only your contacts, but SMS, pIE faves, voicemail, and pix. If PIM Backup is anything like SPB B/u (which I use), you should be able to put your SD card containing the b/u file in your new device and run it from there and you'll be back in biz.

lol thats just it. the diamond has no SD slot. It's only internal Memory.

But aside from that... it should work? You're correct on it being w WM 6.1 device, but I was just wondering on the whole device drivers and probably saving files differently. Kinda like how roms are different for each device.
